KNOWLEDGE-CODESIGN-GREEN JOBS 2030
Talking about green jobs is a way of describing the part of the country that works and reacts positively to the crisis, as well as a way to offer advice to the many, young and a little less young, who are trying to make their way in an employment market that is always harder. Knowing how to deal with the environment, in the broad sense of integrated sustainability set by the 2030 Agenda , can make the difference.

Activity Action 4 - Knowledge MetroCity
Nell'ambito del Progetto Pilota “RC Metro Citizens In Transition”, per l’attuazione della Strategia Nazionale e Regionale sullo Sviluppo Sostenibile Agenda 2030, il Forum Agenda Metropolitana 2030, con l’Ente Città Metropolitana di Reggio Calabria Settore 5, il Ministero MATTM (oggi MASE), ABITAlab dell’Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria, avvia il percorso di formazione e informazione con il Ciclo dei Seminari Tecnici sui temi della Strategia Nazionale di Sviluppo Sostenibile e "Green Jobs 2030", utili alla costruzione dell’Agenda 2030 Metropolitana, con un percorso destinato ai rappresentanti dell’Ecosistema Civico.
Nell'ambito dell'azione pilota 4 "Knowledge Metrocity", si sono svolte e attività di formazione e informazione, da novembre 2020 a giugno 2021, si sono tenuti n.6 seminari tecnici sui temi riferibili alle aree SNSvS "Pianeta e Prosperità", destinati a tutti i soggetti interessati, dirigenti, funzionari e delegati dei settori che sono di riferimento per la Cabina di Regia verso la costruzione dell’Agenda 2030 Metropolitana.
Abbiamo voluto rendere i report ed le registrazioni dei seminari aperti alla consultazione e visione di tutti.

Workshop "Metro City Co-design for the Metropolitan Sustainable Development Agenda"

Description: "Co-design Metro City for the Metropolitan Agenda for Sustainable Development - Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria" is an event of the Metropolitan Forum of SvS, aimed at the realization of an initiative of participation and co-planning on the strategic areas of the National Strategy of Sustainable Development, on the themes and knowledge transferred with the pilot actions of the "RC Metro Citizens in Transition" project and on the trajectories, visions and project ideas contained in the drafting of the Metropolitan Strategic Plan, with the involvement of the Civic Ecosystem (associations, citizens, technicians of the institutions ...), of the experts jr. “Green Jobs” of the organization, of the members of the Scientific Committee of the pilot project and of university students. The day's work was carried out according to the methodology of co-design workshops, in groups divided into "focus" tables, whose activities are structured and guided by one or more identified facilitators (experts jr . Green Jobs, experts from the Scientific Committee, ABITAlab student interns). Each participant at the tables contributed to the work with their knowledge and skills on the proposed trajectories, according to a schedule of activities and a calendar shared with all the tables by the facilitators and the organization of the initiative.

OPEN SCHOOL PCTO AGENDA2030 (II edition)

Place: Room A3 - Department of Architecture and Territory, UniRC
Description: With the #FinalReview of the Open School, the PCTO "The Challenge of the Agenda2030 - II edition" ended, which saw the protagonists of over 60 students of four IV classes of the Liceo Scientifico Statale "A.Volta" and the A. Righi Technical Institute for Surveyors, which for the second year have become "green schools" 2030!
The students, assisted by the tutor teachers, presented their projects on #SDGs 7, 9, 11, 12, 13 and 15, using the skills and knowledge acquired during five months of transfer and #codesign workshops on the topics sustainable development, technological and digital innovation, eco-design and 3D printing .
A path of excellence as part of our pilot project, for which we thank the Ministry of Ecological Transition, the managers, the teachers-tutors, the students of the participating schools, the managers Dr. F. Macheda and Dr. MT Scolaro and the resp. technique of the Marilena Quattrone project of the Sector 5-Professional Training of the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria, the young researchers of ABITAlab of the UniRC dArTe led by the resp. scientific professor Consuelo Nava and scientific tutor Giuseppe Mangano with ABITAlab, the junior experts "Green Jobs", the associations of the # EcosistemaCivico and the university students who participated today, the delegate to the Orientation given by Prof. A. Sarlo and the start-up PMopenlab that accompanies us in our open schools.

Sector 5, in compliance with its institutional governance framework and in the direction of the strengthening and inclusion policies, as outlined in the agreement proposal, has started the public selection of 6 Junior "Green Jobs" Experts, to be hired for collaborative activities in the project itself.

Short Bio:
Francesco Cappellano è ricercatore in Geografia Economica. Ha svolto ruoli di consulenza nell’ambito di tre progetti europei finanziati dal programma Horizon 2020. Ha sviluppato attività scientifiche in Europa e Nord America redigendo una decina di articoli pubblicati in riviste scientifiche internazionali e presentando a convegni scientifici internazionali. Ha ottenuto il Dottorato in “Urban Regeneration & Economic Development” presso l’Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria nel 2016. Nel 2018 ha ricevuto una borsa di ricerca post-doc presso la University of Victoria in Canada. Dal 2020 svolge attività di ricerca per la University of Eastern Finland nell’ambito della geografia dell’innovazione con particolare interesse nelle aree transfrontaliere.
